The Day of the Season Faced with Bright Eyes and What Surprise

Hey you! look at the snow fall in Mississippi
The sky’s one low gray cloud and I’m not
At all like a cloud though I love air and
A swell panorama of feeling the last light
Working itself into a tantrum of flurries
The magnolia’s a bit shaken but thoughtful too
Evening breathes heavily on our account
I hear wind work over your hair but where
Are you our spirits hold hands all the time and
We don’t even know it say have you managed
To escape the tears you shed for animal videos
Have you considered what happens when snow
Wanders the unalterable pathways of the heart
The alternatives of winter cannot move us
